What is Las Vegas Rescue Mission?
The Las Vegas Rescue Mission, founded in 1970, is a faith-based recovery, rehabilitation, and resource facility for men, women, and children who are homeless or suffering from addiction.
The Rescue Mission provides approximately 1,000 meals every day to local hungry citizens and emergency shelter visitors, as well as needed clothing and hygiene goods, counseling, and help.
Rimini Street donates food to the Rescue Mission’s pantry program regularly and laptop computers to replace the old computers used by the administrative staff and volunteers.
Rimini Street recently donated hundreds of office chairs for the Rescue Mission’s employment training program clients to utilize in their conference and meeting rooms where simulated job interviews are placed.
Team Nevada served as Cleaners, Sorters, and Packers for several sections of the Las Vegas Rescue Mission’s campuses during our “Summer of Giving” events.
Nonprofit Overview
The Las Vegas Rescue Mission serves an average of 30,000 meals every month, all of which are provided free of charge to anybody who passes through our doors.
Our communal dinner is served every evening from 5 pm to 6 pm, 365 days a year, and operates between 300 and 700 people.
In addition, all of our emergency overnight shelter visitors receive breakfast, and program residents at the rescue mission receive three meals each day.
We rely entirely on the donations and assistance of concerned individuals, churches, companies, and other groups in the Las Vegas region to offer these meals.
Lv provides nightly shelter and hot meals to homeless families engaged in the ‘family promise of Las Vegas’ program for up to 6 weeks.
Parents take programs to assist them in finding work, locating stable housing, and getting continuing support to avoid relapsing into homelessness.
Donated products are either given to individuals in need or sold, with all proceeds going back into our vital services.
Microwaves, television sets, sofas, chairs, other furniture, clothing, cookware, and other goods are among the products available at the thrift store.

Las Vegas Rescue Mission programs
The Rescue Mission provides lodging, meals, and short-term shelter to homeless and underprivileged people in Clark County and Las Vegas, Nevada.
The property also has a thrift store available to the public, where you can buy and sell gently worn clothing and household items. Residents of Las Vegas with the lowest incomes may be eligible for a voucher to apply toward apparel purchases.
The community needy are served hot meals and nourishment, including a supper. In addition, people staying at the emergency shelter overnight are entitled to a complimentary breakfast.
Another program may provide a lunch (including a bag lunch) to community members engaged in a residential treatment program.

Other food aid programs are available to those in need. The center may distribute pastries, bread, dairy items, fruit, and vegetables.
The nonprofit will also serve Holiday Food Baskets containing turkeys, which are distributed to thousands of individuals around Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The Rescue Mission also pays special attention to single parents and moms with infants. They are given free formula, diapers, and baby food as required.
Thousands of individuals are fed USDA surplus food by the program each year. Last but not least, the Rescue Mission food pantry may assist low-income families throughout Clark County. They may receive groceries, emergency food boxes, canned foods, and other forms of assistance.
Individuals and families in Las Vegas can seek refuge in emergency shelters. They are accessible on a first-come, first-served basis and are targeted towards men, women, families, and children from the community.
